Last Day of August

I cannot believe its the last day of August already--though I am rather glad.
This month has been a roller coaster to say the least.
Regardless, I have smiled and learned a lot which has helped me grow.

“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.” - Albert Einstein

Take a shorter shower: Did you know that for every two minutes you save on shower time, you are conserving about ten gallons? If everyone in the country saved just one gallon from their daily shower, over the course of the year it would equal twice the amount of freshwater withdrawn from the Great Lakes every day.

My favorite part of today thus far was definitely just laying in my bed watching the sun's rays penetrate the plastic shades. Its really incredible when you think about it--one large mass of energy is what keeps this entire planet warm and bright.
