Unexpected Reminder

It was surprising to hear from someone rather important after such a long time of no communication.

I wish we would stay close friends but I know that indescribable feeling that is between us from back then seems to push us away when we get too close. Better to be safe then sorry.

I am happy to be reminded that you are still around and care enough to call me on the day we met three years ago. I almost forgot to be honest.

Anyway, I am glad our hearts went different paths and we can both still be happy and friends. All Ive ever needed was what we each have right now.
