I was a stranger.
An asphalt trail delicately illuminated by the moon and warm lights of once-inviting houses was sheltered by thousands of tranquil green appendages that fluttered with the zephyr.
I have been here before.
This was the floor which hosted many childhood activities and lead me home after youthful adventures.
Why did this feel so foreign to me now?
